I was born in the Philippines and raised outside Philadelphia. I’m currently a senior reporter on Eater’s National team, covering trends in restaurants, home cooking, and online food culture. I like thinking about why we eat the way we do.
I’ve been an associate print editor at Bon Appétit and a staff writer at Vice’s Munchies. I’ve fixed bicycles, decorated cakes, and managed an ice cream shop. I’m also the cook behind @crispyegg420.
